wow

Lets do a little comparison here. If I had grown up and gotten a real person job after graduating I would probably be working as a program developer for a YMCA somewhere in Michigan making absolutely no money and all my friends would either still be in school or would be all over the country in their new exciting jobs. Instead I listened to God's plan for my life and I am now currently employed for a non-profit doing exactly what I feel called to do, and yes, I am still making absolutely no money, BUT I am not supposed to be making money and that makes all the difference.

I found out yesterday that in addition to my mission trip to Grenada that I already had planned for April, I will also be traveling to Zimbabwe this May. I will be spending two weeks working with my bosses to help run a Deaf conference. We will need to learn Zimbabwe Sign Language and everything. I am so excited. Thank you God!

God works through everything that lives and breaths, that is plugged in or thrown out. I found this job through a GOOGLE search, now I can't imagine my life without the Deaf Shalom Zone.
